Gage Miers, former teacher and coach at Galena, and his wife Ashlee (Greenway) Miers, Galena graduate have struggled with fertility issues over the last 6 years. They were expecting twins due on December 20th, but had to have an emergency c-section on August 30th at just 24 weeks, Olivia 1lb 10oz. and Greyson 1lb 8oz. The babies were transferred to St. Louis Children’s Hospital 2 weeks later and have continued their stay there while undergoing multiple surgeries and treatments.
Gage is continuing to work a full time job in Buffalo, Mo. While Ashlee has stayed in St. Louis with the babies. There will still be ongoing therapies and trips back and forth for appointments even after they are released.
We are asking the community for help to ease the financial burden on this young family. Any help and support will be greatly appreciated along with your many prayers.
